The+Koffin+Kats+Bring+Their+Horror+Punk+to+Flint+This+Friday

This Friday, February 19, expect Flint's Machine Shop parking lot to fill up with classic cars as the inside of the building fills up with tattooed greasers and would-be pin-ups in attendance for a night of psychobilly, presented by Rumbleville Clothing.

Headlining the night is the Detroit-based band, The Koffin Kats, who have been hot on the scene since 2003. Their Misfits-influenced rockabilly is fast-paced and high-octane. Though the band has been around for awhile, they have seen a number of line-up changes. Most recently, original member Tommy Koffin stepped down due to health reasons, and EZ Ian took his place on guitar and vocals. Ian is joined by Vic Victor on bass and vocals and E-Ball Walls on drums. This is one of their last shows in Michigan before they head out on a three month tour of the U.S. and Europe, so they're sure to deliver to the home-state crowd.

Opening for The Koffin Kats is another Detroit band, Graveside Manner, and Midland's The Loving Dead. Doors open at 7:00pm. The Machine Shop is located at 3539 South Dort Highway, Flint. Ages 18 - 20, $8; 21 and up, $5.
