Shiloh Slaughter, who currently writes under Shiloh Sanchez and Tornline, was raised on Saginaw's
South Side; influenced by nursery rhymes, hip hop, and classic rock, she currently wants to raise
up underground hip hop and find a publisher for her fiction.

Joseph L. Lewis is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. He holds a B.A. in English from Hampton University and an M.A. in Africana Studies and Literature from NYU. He teaches composition and literature at Delta College in University Center, MI, and investigates how representations of race, death, anxiety, and fear create cultural sensibilities in the United States.
