Amy L. George holds an MFA in Creative Writing from National University, where she served two terms on the editorial staff of
The GNU, the student literary journal. Her work has been published in such journals as
Poesia, The Toronto Quarterly, MiPoesias, The Foliate Oak Online, among others and is forthcoming in
WestWard Quarterly and
Pennsylvania English. She has also published instructional essays and articles on the craft of creative writing. Her first poetry collection,
The Fragrance of Memory, is forthcoming from Amsterdam Press in 2010. She currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina with her husband and two cats.
