Brush Street with Brass and Strings featuring Julie Mulady

Bay City’s State Theatre provides the ideal setting for the premiere of Brush Street with Brass and Strings, signifying a new direction for the group. The program will consist of songs written by Michael Brush over a twenty-five year period, many rarely or never performed, including those composed to be performed by the expressive Julie Mulady. Some songs will be familiar to listeners from previous concerts or WUCX. All songs are newly arranged by Brush to include enhanced or re-imagined instrumentation. 

The evening is planned to coincide with the release of a freshly recorded collection of these songs. Brush Street featuring Julie Mulady has been featured in most major area events and venues such as: the State Theatre, Saginaw Pride’s Friday Night Live, performances with the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, Jazz in the Garden at the Andersen Enrichment Center, Saginaw on Stage, as well as numerous private and supper club engagements.
