Flint playwright Jen Sikora presents Paid Programming, an original work that weaves comedic infomercials into the emotionally charged life of Max, a transgendered man torn between happiness and meeting social expectations. A social satire, Paid Programming uses a blend of comedy and drama to explore familial relationships, gender, sexuality and a search for identity.
This performance is followed by a talk-back, which is facilitated by celebrated playwright Holly Hughes and catered by The Lunch Studio.
